The Online Master of Public Health program provides students a comprehensive online learning environment to develop your skills and prepare you to lead in public health. In the online program, you can:
- Access 100% online coursework
- Engage in weekly live sessions with faculty and peer interaction
- Connect with professors during virtual office hours
- Network with other students through group projects and discussion boards
Receive Personalized Support
During the application process, you’ll be assigned a dedicated admissions advisor who can help answer any questions you have about the program and student experience. They’ll also offer guidance through the admissions process.
Once you become a student in the program, you’ll have access to more USC staff members that can provide individualized support for registration, university policies, practicum and academic performance and career services.
Access Unique Experiences
Although you’ll complete coursework online, there are other opportunities to connect with other students and public health professionals in person. You may complete an in-person or online practicum at a location of your choice, either domestically or internationally. You will be invited to all in person program events, and larger department seminars and networking opportunities.
Through our Faculty-Led Trips, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with your professors and peers while visiting a unique destination that bridges classroom lessons with real-world applications.
Get Involved
As an Online MPH student, you’ll have the opportunity to join the USC Master of Public Health Student Association (MaPHSA), which promotes awareness of career and academic issues related to the field of public health. Throughout the academic year, MaPHSA sponsors networking activities and encourages opportunities for collaboration between students, faculty and administration. New students can also look forward to a yearly Homecoming Tailgate hosted by MaPHSA at the USC University Park campus.
